I’m Jessica Pratt, and the idea for WyoU sparked after seeing firsthand how cookie-cutter monthly plans rarely account for the complexities of life and finances. It’s always a multi-step plan that worked for one person or a series of diagrams and mantras to follow that worked for someone else. The industry is full of these rigid plans and solutions that sell the idea of financial independence.
So rather than trying to sell a hands-off solution, we shifted our starting perspective to you. We build up from where you’re at, rather than trying to force you into a mold. We empower and guide you along your financial journey. We navigate variable income and shifting priorities when the path forward isn’t clear or easy.
By keeping the focus on you, we help build a life specific to your wants and needs. At the end of the day, what truly holds the key to your financial success is Y-O-U.

Our Story
Surprisingly enough, our journey didn’t start in finance; it started with tattoos. Before working in finance, my husband and I went through our own debt payoff journey so that I could chase my dream of becoming a tattoo artist. Through that experience, I saw firsthand how capable, smart people could have a clear, proven plan, yet still struggle to make progress. Not because they weren’t disciplined, but because their income didn’t fit into a neat monthly box, their priorities didn’t always fit neatly into prescribed steps, or what made sense on paper didn’t always make sense for their lives. The plan may have been financially sound, but it hadn’t been built around the people actually living it.
Our journey involved a whole slew of changes: moving costs, daycare, mortgages, variable income, investing in the future, and shifting priorities. Through all of it, we continued to move forward financially, not because we did everything perfectly, but because we learned how to talk openly about money and built a system that prioritized the life we wanted to live along the way.
Through firsthand experience and diving into the financial industry itself, the idea behind WyoU Financial Strategies was born. Shifting financial planning into a journey, not just a plan for the future.
Meet Jessica
A Little More About Me.
I am originally from a small town in eastern Montana, but after graduating from college and meeting my husband, we spent the next 11 years moving around the western United States, experiencing new adventures and building our life together. We settled in Casper in 2018.
My true love is spending time with family and friends. I enjoy the outdoors, hosting barbecues, game nights, and Nerf wars with my kids. In the summer, you will likely catch me fly fishing with my family on the famous Platte River.
